open call for hands-on production support
for audiovisual projects led by trans/racialised cultural producers
this is a self-organised, non-institutional initiative for sharing resources, technical skills, and mutual aid in support of audiovisual projects led by trans and/or racialised cultural producers in berlin. pitch ur project by filling out the form at the bottom of this page
support offered
chosen projects will receive hands-on, collaborative support, which may include:

access to audio and video equipment, and guidance on choosing the right setup

technical support on equipment use, including on-set assistance if needed
-
orientation during the pre and post production phases: development, production planning, budget, shooting schedules, editing, release & distribution

catering during the shooting days, either organised by imaginary box or provided as cash support
-
continued support through post-production, release, and distribution
the exact form of support will be shaped together, based on each project’s needs
production framework
productions will be carried out as co-productions between the producers and imaginary box under a collaboration agreement signed by all parts
all audiovisual formats, lengths and topics are welcome; however, to maintain a sustainable scope, each project should require no more than 3 shooting days in berlin or surroundings
selection process
while the call is open thematically, projects that center trans and/or racialised experiences will be prioritised, as well as projects coming from emerging cultural producers and collectives
no previous experience is required to pitch ur project
